Challenge
The client wanted to have a website that will inspire future students to select and enroll in this particular Faculty.
It was important to make the website interesting to younger generations by incorporating quizzes, videos, and gamification (links to game elements were removed from the website after the Festival because they included sweepstakes).
Solution
Regarding the information architecture for the website, the desired effect is achieved by creating a combination of visuals and microcopy which will inspire future students. The reason for creating only three parts of the website was the realization that the younger generations don’t have a big attention span. That is why we decided to streamline the website parts through three main areas of student life. The accent color had to be in line with the official logo.
We built the website on the WordPress platform, resizable for 3 screen resolutions, and optimized it for search engines.
I can’t find words to describe the ease of turning the impossible into the possible, which is really impressive and motivating with Pyxis Volans!
