Challenge
The website is representing hydrogen, a new, clean kind of fuel so the website design had to represent it.
The client wanted to have a website with a vertical menu and unusual navigation to create the impression of particularity and uncommonness.
The task was also to incorporate a really large number of links into the unusual look of the web page and additionally to create a place within the front page for emphasis.
The website had to be in two languages.
Solution
We created an information architecture for the website in a way that both the navigation menu and front page contain the most important links. That was especially challenging for smaller resolutions.
We wanted the website design to be simple, but unconventional. We decided to go with dark green color with a royal ‘scent’ to convey the impression of particularity. Also, we included the place for extra emphasis so that there was room for more highlighted parts related to the project.
The website was built on the WordPress platform, resizable for 3 screen resolutions, in two languages, and optimized for search engines.
I came to Pyxis Volans with the idea of designing a modern and attractive site that brings hydrogen to a completely new level. Although it seemed like a big challenge to me because of complexity, this amazing team brought my idea to perfection with a real ‘wow’ effect at the first sight. From the moment I discovered Pyxis Volans, we’ve developed a really strong bond of trust and confidence that everything will be exactly as I imagine, and even better. The highest recommendations!
