Challenge
The client wanted to have a simple and beautiful website that will represent his services.
It was important to encourage people to get in contact, so the task was to create a flow of info to gently nudge them to do that.
The client provided me only with the photos and just general info about his services so the task was to do the research and come up with a microcopy and most of the copy.
The task was also to come up with the best domain name for his business.
Solution
The website was built on the WordPress platform, resizable for 3 screen resolutions, and optimized for search engines.
We designed the website with the goal to represent the client’s professionalism and to encourage visitors to make a contact. That is why we included testimonials on the front page and a contact form on every subpage. I wanted to convey the message that Hvar is the sunniest island in Europe so except for putting that copy on the front page, we used orange (symbol for (client’s) reliability) for the sun and blue for the sea with waves throughout the design.
We chose the domain name after researching what are the most searched terms.
