SEO or longer, Search Engine Optimization, is important to everyone whose work is related to the Internet or more importantly everyone who has a webpage.

Optimization of a website is equally important as the quality of the text. Speaking of text, for your website to be found more easily it is important to have some relevant content for your prospective clients.

If you are a dentist, PR officer or an engineer, you are expert in your field. You surely know all about it. How about your potential clients?
Since they are looking for the answers or someone’s services, they must have some doubts and uncertainties about what should they do. Put yourself in their position. What would they want to know? If you already had some clients, what were their first questions?

This depends on many factors like hosting, website template or the content. A website shouldn’t load more than a couple of seconds because visitors will leave. Visuals shouldn’t be too heavy.


4. Good user experience

Your visitors should easily find what they are looking for. Website construction, all visuals and copy should be in service of that.


5. Clearly defined titles, descriptions and keywords for each article

Each page of your website should have its own title, description and focus keyword. That is to help Google index it better. It is recommended to have keyword research before writing the article.


Only the articles which comply with the basic rules can end up on the first page of Google search results. It is important to make a note here: it cannot happen overnight because it is the result of constant work and article optimizations.



Whether your articles are new or updated, share them. The more shared an article is, the better position in Google search results it will have. Don’t forget to put the sharing buttons at the bottom.
Your old articles can be repurposed in a myriad of ways. You could make a Youtube video, podcast or an infographic. Anything that can drive more traffic to your website.



Monitor your results. Use available tools like Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools so you can improve current statistics.
